This has resulted in a flexible offering that can be adapted to the ever-changing needs of Johnston Logistics’ customers.
Since 2007, Heavey RF has provided the Musgrave Group with a voice-directed solution to optimise productivity and accuracy throughout all of their warehouses in Ireland.
In 2016, Heavey RF tendered for, and was awarded, the contract for their driver hand-held solutions which have been deployed to in excess of 600 drivers nationwide.
DSV has worked with Heavey RF since 1996. Since then, Heavey RF has deployed many generations of handheld computers and voice directed solutions in multiple sites and across multiple countries.
DSV chose Heavey RF for our nimble and flexible approach to an ever-changing customer environment.
Bulmers in Clonmel has been a customer of Heavey RF since 2004. Having deployed vehicle-mounted and handheld computers throughout their warehouse environment, Bulmers subsequently became the first company in Ireland to select a voice-directed logistics solution for their warehouse.
So successful was this deployment that the project was selected for, and won, the BT Inspired IT Project of the Year in 2006. To this day, this solution continues to perform in Bulmers. In 2015/2016 Heavey RF was chosen to extend our offering to a driver handheld solution which has now been deployed to almost 100 users within the company.
BWG Foods are a long-standing customer of Heavey RF having been selected to provide all of their stores and warehouses with voice-directed and handheld computers.
BWG also use Heavey RF to manage their wireless technology and we continue to work closely with them on numerous projects.
Dublin Port have been trusting Heavey RF since 1998 with their mobile data terminals for their cranes and gantries.
Ports and container yards are unique industrial environments which present many challenges to the mobile devices in use and the wireless technology which connects them.
Heavey RF deployed a license narrowband solution to Dublin Ferry Port terminals to provide a robust data solution over the wide area that it is required to cover.
Heavey RF and Britvic Soft Drinks PLC’s relationship has been ongoing since 2010. Over this period, Heavey RF have implemented and supported all of Britvic’s wireless infrastructure and auto-ID solutions for their production and drive site operations in the UK and Ireland. Heavey RF continue to work with Britvic as their business grows to ensure that the most suitable technologies are implemented
Heavey RF has a long-standing partnership with Culina and in 2010, Heavey RF took over the management and support for all Culina’s UK operations. As Culina’s business has grown and adapted over the years, Heavey RF have implemented a standardised, scalable technology platform which suits the requirements of their ambient, chilled and bonded businesses.
In 2011, Heavey RF partnered with Carpetright to manage their existing RF estate. Since then, Heavey RF have worked with Carpetright to evaluate the correct technology in order refresh their handheld and vehicle mounted devices at their distribution centre in Purfleet.
Heavey RF partnered with British Sugar in 2016 to implement a new RF scanning solution throughout all of their sites in the UK. Heavey RF worked closely with the requirements of the operations to provide a bespoke support mechanism through Heavey RF’s service management software, InHouse. This has ensured that the sites can maintain 100% operational continuity for their RF estate.
